4 c’s of enterprise 2.0
Interesting concepts have developed over the last 12 months, most centre from either Andrew McAfees Slates or Dion Hinchcliffes Flatness models. Niall Cook looks at the 4 c’s which is more of a bite size approach useful for communicating with management and internal stakeholders. As a simple overview to get you started, and as a book i recommend, these 4 c’s are:
Communication, Cooperation, Colloboration and Connection.
It is self explanatory, the book and indeed the site take you through his top level thoughts on the subjects and how each C can be implemented. For me it is a good overview and sums up the very ‘matter of fact’ strategy to approach enterprise 2.0.
It will form part of recommended reading for my student base, but it is a little simplified and will start to date quite quickly as we progress in this rapid change environment. Some points to think about when reviewing this approach:
How does this fit in a British corporate environment?
How much does this overlap with external content and media usage?
How do i make this fit within an overall strategy that fits my companies culture?
Weekends football - Arsenals No Score Bore
As an Arsenal fan it is not a good time to be a football fanatic. The last few months have been hard and to see the god awful display against what is an average team shows so much of why we are where we are. Overal could have been a good weekend for the Gunners, but as usual we failed to capitalise on the mistakes of others.
Man U, scraped past Everton without breaking a sweat and the lucky scousers managed to sort out a fairly poor Chelsea side. No one likes Fat Frank, but that was never a red card and that changed the game. On a side note, always good to see Cashley give away a goal.
For me it is Man U all the way now, we have to regroup and concentrate on that ellusive 4th spot. Its now really a 3 way run in with Villa and Chelsea..
I will sign off with a prayer, bring in Arshavin by 5pm tomorrow and lets get Eddy back.. I dont ask for much!
